Aliana Family Ring
Privacy Policy
Effective October 21, 2026
In short: Aliana Family Ring lets you ring the phone of someone in your family. We keep the minimum: the phone's name in the family, when it was last online and its battery level. We do not collect phone numbers, contacts, messages, photos or location. No ads and no third-party analytics.
1. Who we are
Aliana Family, developer Alexey. Contact: aliana.family7@gmail.com.
2. What data and why
- Phone name you typed yourself (e.g. "Mom") — so the family sees whom to ring.
- The phone's secret key — the server stores only its fingerprint to recognize a phone from your family.
- Firebase token — so the server can instantly wake the phone when it is rung.
- Last seen time and battery level — so the family sees the phone is online.
- Ring records (who, whom, when, optional short text) — kept up to 7 days, then deleted.
- If you send a request to the developer (e.g. "we need more phones"), its text.
3. App permissions
- Notifications and showing over the lock screen — to show "Someone is looking for you" and the "Found it!" button.
- Alarm volume and vibration — the ring plays on the alarm channel, even in silent mode. Volume is restored afterwards.
- Flashlight — blinks during the ring. The camera does not take or store anything.
- Background work — so the phone responds even when the app is closed.
- In later versions: microphone (finding by three claps — sound is analysed on the phone only, never recorded or sent) and location (family only, only if you turn it on). This policy will be updated before those features appear.
4. Who receives data
Data is stored on a Cloudflare server (ring.alianafamily.com). Firebase (Google) receives only an empty wake-up signal with no names or text — the phone fetches the content from our server itself. We do not sell or share data with third parties. Data is visible only to the phones of your family.
5. Retention and deletion
Tap "Leave family" in settings — your phone's data is deleted from the server immediately. When the last phone leaves, the family itself is deleted. Any family member can remove a lost phone. You can also email us.
6. Children
Children in the family may use the app under parental supervision. We collect nothing about children beyond what is described above.
7. Changes
When features change, this page is updated and the date at the top changes.
